TAST 2012, Week 10 - Running Stitch
This is the trial of my running stitch. I have used pattern darning here.
Have a look.

Now comes a simple pattern using running stitch. I have started to work this on a plain pillow cover. I came to know about this type of pattern while surfing the net and it comes under Sashiko embroidery i.e) embroidering geometrical patterns using only running stitch. The results were very pleasing. I have given a try. I have designed my pattern using a graph paper and then transferred it through carbon to the fabric. Have a look at it.
