Kasuti Embroidery Cushion Cover

This is another cushion cover which I have done using Kasuti embroidery.  The pattern is from Mridulas Embroidery course book.  I have done this in aida cloth.  In the border I have made some mistakes but some how I have managed so that it is not seen.  How is it?  Waiting for your comments.

This is a Kasuti neck design which I have practiced to do on a blouse.  It is a popular octagen flower motif of kasuti embroidery.  Have a look and pass on your comments.

 

Hardanger embroidery - A beginning

When I came across some hardanger embroidery pieces in some blogs I was tempted to do  learn it.  It was a simple counted thread embroidery.  while googling I got a simple pattern here.  I didn't have the hardanger cloth.  So I have given a try in plastic canvas.  It came out well and I am satisfied with the outcome.  Trying to learn more on hardanger embroidery.  Have a look and tell me how is it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

 

This is a cushion cover which I have done to practice kasuti embroidery.  Very easy to do but we have to be very  very careful  on counting the stitches.  The pattern is from Mridulas Embroidery course book.
