Kutch work v-neck embroidery design for kurtis

 Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today i am happy to share with you a Kutch work neck design.  This is a simple design that we do in 2-3 hours.  Very easy to do and even beginners can also give a try.  

Pattern for the design

You can print this in A4 size paper and transfer it using carbon paper without any scaling.

Stems are done in split back stitch.  Leaves in herringbone stitch.  Both the stems and leaves are done using 3 strands of thread.  Neckline is also done using three strands of split back stitch.  Kutch work is done using 4 strands of thread.

Kutch work border with Kamal Kadai stitch flower

 Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am happy to share with you a Kutch work border design.  This design can be used as a border when worked repeatedly or it can be used in the yoke portion of the neck in Kurtis.

This design is apt for beginners.  It also has a Kamal Kadai stitch flower in the centre.

I have used 3 strands of thread for the Kutch work and 6 strands of thread for the Kamal Stitch flower.  A bead has been added to the centre of the flower.
