TAST 2012 - Week 18, Crossed Buttonhole stitch

This is my first trial of crossed buttonhole stitch.  It is very easy and interesting.

Then I have worked a design which incorporates this stitch.  Here, I have used crossed buttonhole stitch for the leaf.  I worked two rows of the stitch facing each other for a single leaf. It looks like working the leaf with Herringbone stitch.  But with this stitch the leaf will be outlined which cannot be done with herringbone. Have a look at it.  Looking forward for your valuable comments and suggestions.

Happy embroidering.
Shami Immanuel.
