Chikankari Embroidery - Kurti

This is the embroidered chikan motif which I have embroidered recently.  It is for a kurti top and it has three motif one above the other with regular intervals.

Here, is the closeup of the motif.

Flowers are done using Bhakya stitch(double herringbone stitch), Stems using Rahet(stem stitch) and the tiny circles using Rozan(Eyelet stitch).

You can see my other work in chikan embroidery here.

I am learning chikan embroidery and planning to post one sample for each stitch. So keep an eye on my blog.

Happy Embroidering,
Shami Immanuel.
