Embroidery design - Basque Stitch Flower

Hello all,

Here is my next free embroidery design using the basque stitch.  This stitch when worked in a round forms a beautiful flower.  I have worked the flowers using variegated thread.  For the big flowers I have done alternatively big and small stitches in height.  The other two flowers, the stitches are all same height .  Added french knots in the centre.

                            French knots for centre of flowers

                           Back Stitch for Stems

Threads used - Anchor Embroidery threads

Big flower - 1203 (6 strands)

Small flower(right) - 9,10 (3 strands)

Small flower(left) - 9, 10(3 strands)

Back stitch stitch - 269 (3 strands)

French Knots - 291 ( 6 strands, 1 wrap)
