I like crocheting wearables. But making it to the correct size was always a problem for me. while googling i have found a skirt pattern. It is very simple but very effective. I have decided to try it out for my 3year old niece. I was doing this last month and I happened to stay along with my niece. So I took measurements of her, then my crocheted piece and finally i have made a skirt which fits her properly.. For the waist i have used half inch elastic which I have attached it using single crochets. I am happy that I have crocheted a wearable.
I have used 3 balls(each 10 grams= 12 Rupees each) of knitting yarn which I purchased from my local yarn shop.
You can view my another skirt here.
In my next post I will come up with a sample piece of Long and short stitch in embroidery.
The skirt is so adorable! i'm sure it'll look so cute on your niece :)
ReplyDeleteYour niece is happy to have such a beautiful skirt tailor made by her aunt, and you must feel very proud of the outcome. Well done!
