Leaf Embroidery - Day 15 - Long and Short stitch leaf

Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  In the leaf embroidery series the next stitch is the long and short stitch.  This stitch can be used to embroider a large leaf with two or more shades of a colour.  I have shown in two colors.  I have shown easy method to embroider the leaf using long and short stitch.   Do follow the video tutorial.

Leaf Embroidery - Day 14 - Closed Fly stitch leaf

 Hi all

In the leaf embroidery series, the next stitch that is very suitable and easy to do is closed fly stitch.  For doing this we have to start with a straight stitch in the top centre, and then proceed with closed fly stitches, and finish it with a fly stitch with a long tail.

MCP update and a new start in kutch work

 Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am happy to share with you my update in the mega cross stitch project - Harmony.  I have completed one more page from the chart.  This time I have completed one page within 13 days as I am concentrating more on this project so that I can complete it before this year ends.

Also I have started a new kutch work project.  This time it is a kurti for which I am doing the neck part and sleeve borders.  The pattern, thread and beads, traced fabric is ready.  I have to start embroidering and planning to finish this week end.  I will be providing the details in my completed post.

Leaf Embroidery - Day 13 - Lazy daisy with straight stitch leaf

 Hi all

In the leaf  embroidery series, the next stitch that is suitable for leaves is Lazy daisy with a straight stitch inside each lazy daisy.  It is an easy one.  It is a nice filling stitch for the leaves with two shades of a colour.
