Flowers - Satin stitch - 6 strands

Leaves - Eskimo Laced edging stitch - 3 strands

stems - stem stitch - 3 strands

Leaves - straight stitches - 3 strands

French knots - 6 strands, 1 wrap

Fern stitches with French knots for spray type leaves

Leaf Embroidery - Day 10 - Ray stitch leaf

 Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am happy to share with you the next stitch in the leaf embroid Series.  It is the simple ray stitch.  This stitch can be used in places where the leaves take fan like structure.

Round Kutch work design for sarees, Kurtis and cushion covers

Today I am happy to share with you a simple kutch work round design.  This design consists of the basic Kutch work motif fiver.  Also running and herringbone stitches added more beauty to this design.

The design is stitched with 3 strands of thread throughout.  I have used variegated thread or this pattern.  This design can be used for cushion covers, yoke part of dresses and all over butti in sarees.

The next stitch I am going to show for embroidering the leaves is the satin stitch.  It is a nice, neat filling stitch for small leaves.  The number of threads used depends on the size of the design.

 Hi all

The next stitch that is suitable for fern type leaves is fern stitch.  Very very easy and this stitch can incorporate stitches like french knots, lazy daisy stitch to form simple borders also.
