Crochet edging

Inspired by Lakshmi's post on crochet edging I have tried it in a sofa cover back and it turned out well. Here it is.

Here is the close up.

u'r comments and suggestions are welcome.

  1. Shami it looks pretty good matching with the are so fast.appreciate your spirit..
if you don't like blanket stitch try chain stitch..
otherwise make holes on fabric edge and start crochet directly passing the crochet needle through the holes. it looks beautiful but I dont prefer it though

  2. nice work shami..i have done many edgings like this..but i just pierce the fabric with the crochet needle itself and work through need of supporting stitches ie blaket or other stitches..if you do along with blanket stitch, it looks so crowded..piercing helps you in less time and thread consuming job as well..just my suggestion shami:)..iam following you..thanks for commenting on my blog..
