Back stitch is one of the simplest and most versatile embroidery stitches, and it can be used to create a neat and charming floral design. Pattern for the design

Design fits a 1.75" x 2.25" square
Stitches used

Flower - Back Stitch - 3 strands
Inside each petal - 3 straight stitches - 3 strands
Centre of the flower - French knots - 6 strands, 1 wrap
Stems - Back stitch - 3 strands
Leaves - Straight stitch - 3 strands
Tip of leaves - French knots - 6 strands, 1 wrap
