Embroidery flower design featuring loop stitch

Flower - Loop stitch - 3 strands

outline of flower - stem stitch - 3 strands

Centre of flower - French knots - 6 strands - 1 wrap

Big leaves - Bullion knot - 6 strands - 9-12 wraps

Small leaves - Fishbone stitch - 6 strands

Leaves with stem - Back stitch - Lazy daisy with a fly stitch base - 6 strands

Straight stitch flower design

Hi all

Hope all are doing well I and good.  Today’s design is an easy flower embroidery that uses the simple straight stitch, lazy daisy, fly stitch and French knots.  Easy to work within minutes.

Flower - straight stitch - 6 strands 

Open lazy daisy - 6 strands 

Centre of the flower - French knots - 12 strands, 1 wrap 

Big leaf - Fly Stitch - 6 strands 

Small leaf with stem - stem stitch, 5 straight stitches
