Embroidery flower design featuring loop stitch

Hope are doing great.  Today I am happy to share with you another simple design that features loop stitch.  You can find the video tutorial for loop stitch here.

Flower - Loop stitch - 3 strands

outline of flower - stem stitch - 3 strands

Centre of flower - French knots - 6 strands - 1 wrap

Big leaves - Bullion knot - 6 strands - 9-12 wraps

Small leaves - Fishbone stitch - 6 strands

Leaves with stem - Back stitch - Lazy daisy with a fly stitch base - 6 strands

Easy Bullion Stitch flower

Hope all are doing well.  Today I am happy to share with you a simple design that uses the bullion stitch to form a flower.  Hope all of you will have a try. 

Close up of the flower.  I have added 12 - 14 wraps to each bullion stitch.  All the 6 strands of the thread have been used.

I have worked a flower similar to this earlier.  You can view it here.  There I have added a small video to show the progress of the flower.  If you look at that you can have an idea of working this flower.

Embroidery Design - Bullion Knots

Hope all are doing well.  I am happy to share with you the bullion knot stitch sample.  Have a look at it.  Tutorial for working the bullion knots is here.

Pattern for the design

I have used two shades of pink and 2 shades of green.  For the flowers I have used 8 wraps of pink inside and 12 wraps of dark pink outside. 8 wraps for inside of the leaves and 10 wraps for outside the leaves.  For the small buds 8 wraps.  For the stems I used back stitch.
