Kasuti Embroidered Purse

Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am happy to share with you an embroidered purse with a kasuti motif.  The purse is a plain one purchased from amazon.  The using the kasuti net I have embroidered this motif and then removed the net.  A beautiful kasuti embroidered purse is ready.  You can see the process in the video given below.

Easy Kasuti embroidery design for sarees, kurtis, cushion covers, pillow covers & bed spreads

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am very happy to share with you a simple kasuti embroidery design that can be used for dresses.  When used as a single design it can be used an all over butti for sarees and kurtis.  When worked continuously it forms a nice border.

I have worked this design using 3 strands of thread throughout.

Kasuti Deer Border design for sarees and kurtis

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am sharing a kasuti embroidery deer design that can be used as borders for sarees and kurtis.

I have drawn this design in a 10 lines/inch graph paper and transferred it to the fabric using carbon paper.  Used 2 strands of thread throughout the design for embroidering.

Centre of flower - French knots - 6 strands - 1 wrap

Big leaves - Bullion knot - 6 strands - 9-12 wraps

Small leaves - Fishbone stitch - 6 strands

Leaves with stem - Back stitch - Lazy daisy with a fly stitch base - 6 strands

Hope all are doing well and good.  In my embroidery stitch tutorial series, today I have come up with the tutorial for Loop stitch.  This stitch is also known as centipede stitch.  This stitch is a braid stitch category.  It forms a spine along the centre.  Best stitch to embroider a centipede.
