Flower design for center



Flowers are outlined using stem stitch.  Fly stitch is used for filling red color flowers.  Buttonhole stitch is used for brown and pink color flowers.  Centre of each flower is embroidered using buttonhole stitch and interior part is satin stitch.  I have used this design as a center for my table cloth. 

Crocheted Bag

Pattern:

ch-Chain

sc-Single crochet

dc- double crochet.

Make Foundation row with ch75.

For the base 1 dc  in each 75.

make 10 Rows with 1 dc in each dc.

1 dc in each dc around the base.

Do not turn.

Next row:

1 dc in  beginning dc

1 sc in next dc

1 dc and 1 sc alternatively.

Next Row:

sc in dc of the previous row.

dc in sc of the previous row.

Do not turn in each row.

Continue upto the desired height.

For edging 1sc, 1dc, 1sc in each st.

Here I have adjusted by sewing the form a narrow top.For this I have pressed the sides inside and sewed with needle.

For strap:

make 7ch, Turn.

1dc in each ch.Turn

Repeat the second step up to the desired height and sew it in place.

Button hole neck design

This is the first design I have designed for my kurti.  Buttonhole and stem stitches are used.
I have used reverse chain stitch for the neck line.

Lazy daisy stitch, buttonhole stitch

Flowers and leaves are stitched using Lazy daisy stitch.
Big flower is stitched using Buttonhole/blanket stitch.  Inside this Buttonhole wheel is used.
Also Algerian Eye stitch is also used for the spokes.
This can be used as borders for table cloths.

Embroidered table cloth

Dear friends

I have completed the four corners of the table cloth.  Edges have to be embroidered.  After that cutwork has to be carried.  Before that have a look of the four corners. Design has been from www.coatsandclark.com

Embroidery saree - My new project

Dear friends

I have started up a new project on my saree.  It is a blue plain saree.  I have decided to work on single color thread and the color is silver.  I have completed one motif and the three sides of the border will be have same design repeatedly.  Have a look at it.

Stitches include :  Buttonhole wheel
                             Buttonhole
                             Stem stitch for stems
                             fly stitch and leaf stitch for leaves
