I have used six strands of thread throughout the design.  Embroidered the flowers using blanket stitch and whipped each blanket stitch in contrast colour.  For the stems I have used split back stitch.  For the leaves I have done the simple fishbone stitch but with two colors.  In the centre of the flowers added three french knots.

Kasuti embroidery design in under 20 minutes - for beginners

I have drawn this design in a 10 lines/inch graph paper and transfer it to the fabric using carbon paper.  This design can be used as an all over butti for a saree or placed adjacently to create border for kurtis or sarees.
