Kutch work blouse Neck

In my last post I have shown an embroidered kutch work blouse.  I had to remove the embroidered part of the neck because of the flop in the stitching.  After that it was looking very plain and I was forced to do some embroidery. Then I came up with this.  A line of chain stitch and simple kutch work.  I like this design than the previous one.  Have a look.

I have completed the embroidery in the saree also.  After ironing it, I will take snaps and show you in my next post.  Till then, Happy Embroidering.

Kutch embroidery blouse

Today i am here to show you the saree blouse which i have embroidered using Kutch work.  Simple design has been done for the neck and sleeves.  Have a look and type in your comments.

Now the sleeves.

And now the saddest part,  When I gave the blouse for stitching, She stitches the blouse perfectly, but the embroidered part of the neck is 1" below the neckline. I don't know why she made a blunter mistake. So I removed the neckline embroider part and to my luck when I washed the tracing lines have all gone.  Thank God.
The embroidery in the saree is almost over.  some more small motifs has to be done in the body part.  So, do watch my space. Till then, Happy Embroidering.

Square Pineapple Doily

The doilies made by the fellow bloggers using thread, caught my attention and the small details shown after blocking fascinated me.  So I tried a thread doily for the first time.  I have choosen a small one with only 18 round and too it is in square shape. Have a look at it.

Kasuti Mango Motif

In my last post I have promised to write about knitting which is my new hobby.  But today I have practised a kasuti motif and it came out well.  So i wanted to share with you all.  This pattern is from one of the course by Mridulas embroidery school

Initially i was little confused on the pattern.  I didn't get the stitching path correctly.  But after a row i was clear on the forward and reverse path.  I thought of using this pattern for a blouse.  One I am done with it I will show u the result.  Now over to the motif.

I hope all of you like this pattern. Waiting for your feedbacks.   I will be back with some more embroidery works.

Embroidered Leaf - Long and short stitch

From the day I started to do embroidery, long and short stitch always fascinates me.  I have come across the long and short stitch tutorials in needlenthread site.  Long time back i have bookmarked the pages and a few weeks backs the time came and I have tried Lesson 6 of long and short stitch.  The result is below.  I have used 1 strand of Anchor embroidery thread.  Have a look.

Waiting for your feedbacks and suggestions.  Next I thought of trying a flower using long and short shading.

In my next post I will write about knitting, my new hobby.

Pleated Crocheted Skirt

I like crocheting wearables.  But making it to the correct size was always a problem for me.  while googling i have found a skirt pattern. It is very simple but very effective.  I have decided to try it out for my 3year old niece.  I was doing this last month and I happened to stay along with my niece.  So I took measurements of her, then my crocheted piece and finally i have made a skirt which fits her properly..  For the waist i have used half inch elastic which I have attached it using single crochets.  I am happy that I have crocheted a wearable.

I have used 3 balls(each 10 grams= 12 Rupees each) of knitting yarn which I purchased from my local yarn shop.

you can find the pattern here.  Thanks Kinga for the excellent pattern.

You can view my another skirt here.

In my next post I will come up with a sample piece of Long and short stitch in embroidery.
