Flower Embroidery #17 - Granitos Stitch Flower

Welcome back to the Flower Embroidery Series!

I’m happy to have you here as we continue our journey with the 17th flower design — the Granitos Stitch Flower. This lovely stitch creates small, raised petals with a beautiful textured appearance, making the flower look delicate yet full. Pattern for the design

This flower is drawn out of a 2cm diameter circle, with 12 equally spaced spokes.  Each spoke is 0.75cm in length. Design fits a 2" *2" square.

Stitches & Threads Used
Flower - Granitos stitch with 4 stitches - 6 strands  - 46
Centre of flower - Straight stitch from each petal towards centre - 6 strands - 307
Buds - Granitos stitch with 4 stitches - 6 strands - 307
Stem - Couching stitch - 6 strands - 257
Leaves - Fishbone stitch - 6 strands - 257

Your Granitos Stitch Flower is now complete, with its raised petals adding lovely texture and dimension to your embroidery. It’s wonderful to see how each new stitch brings a completely different character to a flower. I hope you enjoyed adding this textured bloom to your growing embroidery garden.
