Hand embroidery flower design using burden stitch | simple flower design to practice burden stitch

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am happy to share with you the practice design for burden stitch.  This flower design can be used as an all over motif for your dresses.  It makes a cute centre design too.

Stitches used

Flower - Burden stitch

Centre round - French knots with a bead in the centre

Leaves - Pistil / Fishbone stitch

Curls - Back stitch

Outline of flower - Back stitch

Simple satin stitch flower

 Hi all

Hope all are doing well and good.  When coming to embroider a flower the first stitch that comes to my mind is buttonhole stitch/blanket stitch.  And my next preference is satin stitch to fill in the petals of a flower.  Satin stitch when worked carefully gives a smooth finish.  Let me show you how I have worked a simple flower using satin stitch.

Hope all are doing well and good.  Today I am happy to share with you a simple embroidery flower design that uses petal Chain stitch.  It is a very easy stitch.  The design can be used as all over design for your dresses.

I use 6 strands for the complete design.  For French knots 2 wraps have been done.
