Crochet hair clips and hair ties with pattern

 Hi all

Hope all are doing well and staying safe.   After marriage I started to crochet in my free time.  I used to crochet table cloths and hotpads.  Then got introduced to mandalas and doilies.  At one point of time I was crocheting blankets and then cushions.   You can view all my crochet creations here.   All these projects took a lot of time and then I came to know about crochet flowers.  They can be crocheted within minutes and gives instant satisfaction. Then I came across so many images of hair clips, hair ties and headbands with crochet flowers.  From that time onwards I am longing to do hair accessories.  But what will I do with them.   I have two boys and I will not be able to use them.

Now the time has come to crochet such accessories for my amazon store.  And I started doing so many flowers.  You can view my crochet headband with hair clip and hair tie here.

As a second project in hair accessories I crocheted flowers using Anchor knitting cotton .  Added a half bead in the centre and glued the flower to the tik tok hair clips.  For the hair ties I sewed the flowers to the hair tie.  I made 5 pairs of clips and a matching hair tie as a mother daughter combo.

These are the hair ties  I have made.

Before these flowers I have crocheted these mini flowers for ear studs.  Those ear studs are also in sale in amazon.  You can check out the following links if your interested.

Hope you all like these hair clips and ties.  See you soon with a tutorial for an embroidered flower.  Till then, have a nice day.

Easy crochet flowers for studs

 Hi all

Hope all are staying safe and doing good.  These days I am doing only embroidery projects.  Always embroidery projects take a long time to get finish when comparing to crochet.  All my embroidery and cross stitch project in my WIP basket will take long time to finish.  So to get instant satisfaction of finishing something I used to crochet coasters and potholders/ hotpads.

Yesterday for a change I started to whip up these easy crochet flowers that doesn't need a pattern to follow.  You can whip it up in an evening.  To add an extra touch I have glued a pearl in the centre of the flowers and they looks even more beautiful.  So let us see the flowers.

All these flowers are made using Anchor pearl 8 cotton and Anchor crochet cotton no.20.  I have used 1.5mm hook to crochet these. I have planned to make earring using these flowers.  So I have used threads to whip up these flowers .

Hope all of you like these tiny flowers.  I will come with more crochet roses and the steps in making a wreath out of it soon.  Tomorrow I will meet you with a rainbow of lazy daisies.  Till then have a nice day.

Kutch work motif and crochet clips

Hi all

Hope all r doing good and busy.  Heat of the summer is horrible and v r afraid to face the coming weeks.  In this climate doing embroidery is not enjoyable.  But to be more productive doing our passion make us more satisfied at the end of the day.  From January I was doing a kutch work saree for my sister in law.  I have completed that and have tried to embellish that motifs.  Sticking pink stones in in the plan.  But as of now I have only pink sequins.  So tried a motif with sequins and it looks like this now.

After buying pink stones we will be sticking it to the saree.

Also I have crocheted some small flowers and glued it to the hair clip.  They are lined up here.

These are all for now.  In my next post I will be coming up with the completed cross stitched fairies.  Till then, Have a nice day.  Have a happy time with needle n thread.
